COVID-19 Part Four: The search for a cure

June 05, 2020 by James Thomas in COVID-19

A feature of the COVID-19 pandemic has been the rush to find the magic bullet to defeat it. Under the heading of ‘compassionate use’ a number of agents have been tested and papers published. Our favourite Pharmacist Kunal Gohil joined the podcast via Zoom to take us through the evidence behind two agents which have received particular fanfare: Hydroxychloroquinine and Remdesivir, discussing compassionate care and the the process of developing a vaccine.

This episode was recorded on Thursday 28th May 2020.
